Energy Training
This section includes training in Reiki, Healing Touch, Therapeutic Touch and other modalities that take place in our region. Only Reiki I or beginner level dates are included in the Calendar. There are links for more information to those with a Private Practice in the area.

Priscilla Bengtson
Reiki I - Saturday, February 18, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost: $125.
Attune to the universal energy in this Level I Usui Reiki class. Participants will learn traditional hand positions, how to give a full body session, and receive attunements to the universal Reiki energy for self-healing and healing others. Participants receive a manual, book and certificate.
Reiki II - Saturday, January 21. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost: $150.
Receive attunements to higher frequencies of universal energy and enhance your healing work. Learn how to do distance healing, as well as heal mental, emotional, and past life issues. Participants receive a manual and certificate.
Reiki For Kids - Friday, February 24. 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: $75.
This class is offered to attune kids to the Reiki energy and reawaken in them the natural healing ability they possess. This is ideal to help participant’s self-heal so they learn to heal others. The class is kept small to allow everyone a space in which to learn. Age 10 and up.

In this one day class you will be introduced to the history, theory and practice of Reiki and receive your attunement as a Level I Practitioner. Cost: $120.

Many of DORY DZINSKI’s training sessions are private and are tailored around the specific and individual needs of the student or small group. Dory is a nationally certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), body-centered psychotherapy, pastoral counselor, energy therapist and trainer, and Certified Spiritual Healer. She is Editor/Publisher of The Door Opener. Dory has been teaching both Usui Reiki as well as Karuna Reiki® for those who wish to deepen, specify and fine-tune their healing focus since 1998. She was also a teacher at the Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences for three years. She teaches many other spiritually based classes at various locations.
