SOUTH WINDSOR - Abraham-Hicks Study Group - We start our second year on September 8 with new energy and materials. We will use several New York Times award-winning books, CDs, and DVDs to bring home the very similar Unity and Abraham-Hicks principles. The focus of the group will be on Creating Joy in Your Life. TOLLAND - Monthly Book Group - During the month of August, we will be reading Eckhart Tolle's book "A New Earth". Please read that book, and another favorite book of your own. We will discuss Mr. Tolle's book on Sunday, September 7th, from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Then we will pick the October book from a favorite "other book" that you suggest. VERNON - Abraham-Hicks Study/Support Group. Facilitated by WAYNE and DEB VEILLEUX of Woodfaeries. This is a progressive, ongoing group that will study the channelings of Abraham through Esther Hicks. The intention is to provide an enlightening and supportive atmosphere where we will share how to bring the teachings into our every day lives, based on the life experiences of each other. Required: Please purchase and bring "Ask and It Is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks. It's not necessary to have read it ahead of time nor to be familiar with the teachings. We will discover as we go. ELLINGTON - Mindful Knitting with DEBBY BAILEY, LMT & LISA BURCH, LCSW.
Learn to knit as we come together for meditation, fellowship & community service. We meet in circle for our inner peace as well as the peace and comfort of others. We'll start with comfort shawls, to be donated to those in need of comfort. Concepts of mindfulness meditation will be interwoven into each session. A portion of each meeting will be devoted to silent knitting. Instruction provided for brand new – intermediate knitters. TOLLAND – Mindfulness Meditation Starting: Free Mutual-Support Group. Do you want to explore new ways of meditation & centering in a community environment 30 to 60 minutes per week? Have you studied with Jon Kabat Zinn or read his books, including Full Catastrophe Living? Would you like to quiet the mind chatter of the day? Can Mindfulness Meditation play an important life-changing role for you? LOOKING for 4 to 6 people who would like to join in community for a short period of time on a once-per-week basis, to be led through a breath-centered mind-quieting experience of Mindfulness Meditation. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSSARY. Looking to recreate the guided meditation experience created by Cindy Rutledge for 2 years in West Hartford in the 1990’s, possibly with rotating leadership. If you are fascinated or just curious about Mary Magdalene and why the world is suddenly becoming interested in her story, join us for this dynamic new study group.
This monthly group is led by Gloria Amendola, an intuitive who brings years of research and hands-on experience of sacred sites, has written a play on Mary Magdalene, has just completed her first novel and was recently invested into the French Order of Knights Templar at Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland.

GLASTONBURY - Articulate Your Life with STEPHEN STITHAM - An ongoing metaphysical group offering channeled insight to those that are healing emotional issues or for those that are looking for a greater depth of meaning to the nature of their lives.
Basic - Held on third Friday of the Month.
Advanced - Prior experience with channeling is recommended. Held on first Friday of the Month.
