The first Animal Health Expo was held June 14, 2008 . . .at the Connecticut Audobon Society in South Glastonbury.Exhibitor tents are set up around the back lawn.It was a hot and humid day so any breeze was appreciated.The center of the lawn was used for demonstrations.Organizer Jenipher Young-Hall with dog whisperer Pat Wright.Donna Velardi and ZodiapetPaws and Listen with . . .Deborah & Kurt Ravenwood with artist Pat Tangier.Kim Jonah's Canine Bodywork.There were small pony rides for the kids.And lots of animals to pet.A team competition for young riders . . .. . . in which they had to stay together over a series of jumps.Staying cool in the shade while waiting their turn.Inside was a display of caged birds; this one had quite a vocabulary.Also inside were additional exhibitors, including Dory Dzinski of The Door Opener.Jeff Behr offered an opportunity to experience the Biomat.
