Hypnosis: Hypnosis is a Heightened Awareness and Focused Concentration paired with Deep Relaxation. It is often very helpful for releasing undesired habits, for releasing anxiety and stress, and maintaining an overall sense of well-being. Aline uses hypnosis in group or individual sessions to help you with Weight Management, Increasing Self-Confidence & Motivation, Becoming Smoke Free, Stress Management, Enhancing Athletic Sports Performance, Improving Sleep, Managing Pain, Improving Memory, Releasing Fears & Phobias, to name a few areas of concentration. Parts Therapy: There is a growing interest in this form of hypnotherapy because of its high rate of success in helping clients resolve inner conflicts. When someone has a desire to change a behavior (such as eating habits, smoking, stress, etc.), there is a part of that person wanting to change and a part that does not. Often this inner conflict prevents the desired change. Hoffman, as a trained Parts Therapist, is able to mediate the existing internal conflict enabling the client to reach a successful agreement with permanent change. Learn more.
Professional Hypnotherapy Certification Training: Aline is both a Hypnosis and Reiki trainer. She offers a Hypnosis course that includes 140 hours of combined classroom instruction, research assignments, practical experience, and supervised sessions with volunteer clients leading to your becoming a Certified Consulting Hypnotist/Hypnotherapist through the International Association of Counselors & Therapists. Learn more.
Parts Therapy Certification Training: Are you a hypnotherapist looking for new ways of effectively helping your clients struggling to reach their goal(s)? You may want to become a Certified Parts Therapy Facilitator (CPTF). This work, pioneered by Charles Tebbetts and updated by Roy Hunter, helps empower clients to resolve inner conflicts that have been keeping them from successfully making their desired life-changes. Your certificate will have Roy Hunter’s signature. Learn more.
Artwork: Aline's artwork includes Chinese Brush Paintings, Pen and Ink, Oils, and Pastels. For her background and a sample of her work see her Conscious CT Artists' Corner or visit the Artwork Page on her website.
Reiki: A combination of two Japanese words, REI = universal and spiritual wisdom, and KI = life energy and universal life force. It is an ancient, gentle hands-on healing technique used to open the natural flow of KI in the body. Clients are fully clothed during this safe, non-invasive and non-manipulative treatment. Reiki heals the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self and counteracts the results of this natural flow being disrupted. Learn more.
Reiki Training: As a Reiki Master she offers classes in Reiki I, II and III/Master levels. Her classes are one-on-one allowing for individualized attention and the hands-on experience that she believes is so necessary for this type of training. Learn more.

In 1973 she moved to Connecticut to earn her MS in Counseling Psychology and her 6th Year Degree in Gestalt Therapy, both from Southern CT State University in New Haven, CT.
