Hypnosis, a natural state of mind, can be simply defined as heightened awareness and focused attention. Hypnotherapy, which tends to pair this hyper-awareness with relaxation, is often helpful in creating an overall sense of wellbeing. It has been known to be beneficial for most issues. Here is a short list: reduce pain, release stress and anxiety, resolve sleep issues, release undesired habits (smoking, over-eating, etc.), relolve fears and phobias, increase motivation and self-confidence. Parts Therapy: There is a growing interest in this form of hypnotherapy because of its high rate of success in helping clients resolve inner conflicts. Someone experiencing difficulty achieving a desired behavioral change (i.e.: becoming a healthy eater, being smoke-free, reducing stress, etc.), may be having this difficulty due to inner conflict. Parts Therapy empowers the client to use hypnosis to identify the motivating and conflicting Parts. Then, Hoffman mediates these Parts to support the client in reaching his or her desired goal. Professional Hypnotherapy Certification Training: Hoffman’s comprehensive 220-hour course includes direct client contact, practical techniques and closely supervised practice, making this a unique learning experience: (110 hours in class/110 hours outside-of-class research, writing, and practical experiences.) Successful completion will earn you IACT Certification (International Association of Counselors & Therapists - www.iact.org) as a Certified Hypnotist or Certified Hypnotherapist. Learn more.
